Motley Theatre Group at India Inclusion Summit 2014 presented “Beastly Tales” a collection of fables for our times is a collection of poems and short stories by Vikram Seth and James Thurber. These amusing, perceptive and sometimes scary parallels between
animals and humans reflect the best and worst of both.These pieces contain the essence of what Motley has been attempting over the last fifteen years. To perform on stage without any trappings and to have the words alone convey these wonderful characters and great stories. This is a show for all ages but specially geared to convey to children that there is more to poetry than just rhyming couplets.
